Today was overcast, cool and there were not too many people. I wrote letters, read, and had a roast beef sandwich for lunch. All in all, it was a lovely day. :) Tho, when I came home, everyone was already eating. :P You think they'd've waited...but whatever. I love pot roast!

I'm staying up tonight to watch The Daily Show and The Colbert Report to see what the guys have to say about all this convention jazz. And b/c I can't afford to d/l the episodes off iTunes. [sighs] I'll have money tomorrow, tho. :P

I think I'll try Robin Hood, the BBC series. thegrrlgeek mentioned that it was a good series, and I'm willing to try it. :) I'll wait 'till I have more money to buy the season, or I'll just d/l the first episode off iTunes. I need a video iPod....

My brother leaves for France tomorrow morning (or afternoon, I'm not exactly sure) but he's packing now and having an argument w/ my mother. :P

Ah, the flush of a new ship! I'm totally in love w/ the McKeller ship now. (McKay/Keller) They're cute. I love McKay and Jewel Staite is awesome. That's all there is to say. :D

I've decided on the Next Gen marathon. I started rewatching a few months ago, so now I'm almost done s1. Off to watch!

I finished all 4 seasons of Stargate: Atlantis!!! And now I'm a total McKay/Keller shipper b/c I think they're cute. :) Now I just gotta catch up on s5. :)

So...next marathon? I'm finishing up JAG right now (I had one more disc to go in s6) and then....dunno. Thoughts?

Since the diary I usually write in requires I use a quill (really a stylus) and ink, it's not a good idea to bring it to work. And as I've been writing my penpal jennluvsfanfic nearly everyday, I'm using the letters as diary entries. I write them in a notebook I can easily carry around, then copy the letter to her, and then again in my diary. I've caught up w/ myself to July 8. I don't write everyday, but I do write REALLY LONG entries. So where I've stopped copying leaves me right in the middle of my curent diary. I've written since May 20th, and I'm about to start July 8. So...HOPEFULLY I'll have enough diary to finish this project! Tho, I do have a few other notebooks that will serve as my next diaries. :) Anyway, that's my project. :)

On the street to the left of my house, there are 4 cop cars and 3 VERY BUSTED teenagers. They caught them for possession of weed, or so my brother tells me. One of the kids is my brother's other friends, who apparently has had issues w/ drinking and drugs and stuff. And now he's been arrested. He's 15.

CareFirst rejected me b/c my BMI (whatever the fuck THAT is. No, I know what it means, I just think it's stupid) is 37 and their cut off is 35. Is that discrimination? It might be. And now I'm pissed and stuff b/c I stopped for a snack at Burger King and now this. [sighs] Fuckers. Now I feel all sorts of inadequate. I don't want to tell my mom, but she's gonna find out anyway and make my life a living hell.

Yeah, right.

Then I come home, find the water heater is leaking and my mom has gone into my room. I know it's messy, but who cares? Whatever. I'll clean it tomorrow. Or at least make it slightly more organized. I have nothing to do anyway. But the thing I'm pissed about is that I probably will not be able to take a shower tonight. And that the shrew violated my sense of security. As long as no one but me comes in here w/out my expressed, written permission, I feel safe. Which is why I lock the door at night. So now I have to recover from this. I guess I'll play Civ 3 and try to relax.

Oh, and my brother's girlfriend is coming to stay. Again. [sighs] I need a boyfriend...

And movie tickets have gone up again. It's $8.50 at my fave theatre, which is always slightly more expensive, but I took my brother and it was...about...[trying to do some math]...ow...[pulls up computer calculator]... $45 for the both of us: tickets and snacks. Sheesh!

ETA: Well, at least she gave me 'till the end of the week. Which means she'll forget by Tuesday. ;)

Got the bill for my car insurance. $929 and change. [slamheaddesk] I think I may ask my dad for help on this one. Not for all of it, just for a bit. Like $200.

So no more unnecessary indulgences for the time being. I need money for that crap, gas and Ren Faire. I just hope everyone decides to go in late September b/c I'll be broke 'till then!

I'll be taking $50 and putting it on my movie theatre gift card so I can at least get to the movies during this time. I'm glad I don't start school 'till October.

$75 for a fucking parking pass to NOVA! That's bullcrap. $30 MAYBE. Holy crap... I bought my textbook, too. I got it off Barnes & Noble w/ a 15% off coupon, so that was... $53. Better than $60, right?

Get off your fat ass and clean it yourself. I need to go out at night more, maybe. Or go to bed earlier.
